Norah Jones, born Geethali Norah Jones Shankar on March 30, 1979, is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for her fusion of jazz with elements of country, blues, folk, and pop. Her debut album, "Come Away with Me," released in 2002, was certified diamond and earned her five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist, making her the first person of South Asian descent to win five Grammys in a single show. With over 53 million albums sold worldwide, Jones has continued to release critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums, such as "Feels Like Home" (2004), "Not Too Late" (2007), and "The Fall" (2009), all of which achieved platinum status. Billboard named her the top jazz artist of the 2000s decade, and she was ranked 60th on Billboard's Artists of the 2000s Decade chart.
