ODESZA, the duo of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, built a distinct place in modern electronic music through a blend of indie-pop melody, house-driven rhythm, vocal sampling, and expansive, euphoric production. Their run of albums, including In Return, A Moment Apart, and The Last Goodbye, helped establish them as one of the defining names in melodic electronic music, with a live presence that carries the same scale and emotion as their recordings.
Formed in 2012 in Bellingham, Washington, the project began while the two were at Western Washington University. Their identity grew not just through studio releases but through high-energy live shows featuring drums and brass, major festival appearances, collaborations with vocalists like Leon Bridges and Bettye LaVette, and the launch of their own Foreign Family Collective.
