Turnover is an American indie rock and dream-pop band from Virginia Beach, Virginia, known for evolving from emo and pop-punk roots into lush, melodic alternative music with soft grunge, indie pop, and shoegaze textures. Formed in 2009, the band built a devoted following with albums such as Magnolia, Peripheral Vision, Good Nature, Altogether, Myself in the Way, and Down On Earth. Songs including “Cutting My Fingers Off,” “Dizzy on the Comedown,” “New Scream,” “Humming,” “Super Natural,” “Sunshine Type,” “Much After Feeling,” and “I’m Up, I’m Up” show the band’s shift from energetic emo-rock toward atmospheric, reflective guitar pop.
