999999999 are an Italian duo at the front of the hard techno scene, known for making music that feels immediate, intense, and impossible to ignore. Their sound is built on the collision of raw machine-driven power and live improvisation, which gives both their records and performances a sense of movement that never feels static.
Since launching the project in 2016, they have built a strong catalog through their own NineTimesNine label, releasing a run of hard-hitting 12"s that have repeatedly been repressed because of demand. A major turning point came with “300000003” in 2018, a breakout track that helped push their acid-techno style to a much wider audience, and by 2020 they had expanded beyond a vinyl-only approach to release music digitally and open the label up to other artists as well.
