Justin Hawkes is an Austin-based drum & bass producer formerly known as Flite, with a sound that moves between melodic, soft-toned moments and heavy, bass-driven club energy. His work has earned support from DJs including Andy C, Porter Robinson, RL Grime, Netsky, Friction, Sub Focus, and Wilkinson, while building a catalog with more than 25 million streams.
Born in Virginia, Hawkes began releasing as Flite in 2013 with “Blue Spark,” followed by early momentum from tracks like “Featherfall” and “Dive.” After leaving industrial design studies to pursue music full time, he released music on labels including Liquicity, Hospital Records, Monstercat, and UKF, performed across Europe and the U.S., and later launched his Justin Hawkes alias in 2020 after a sold-out Brooklyn show on the Worship Artists North America tour.
